HISTORY
1-Founding (Unknown date for Sivastopol, Odessa)
Arstotzka Turks are actually a forgotten Turkish tribe. According to the event records and rumors, at the time of the migration of the tribes, the Arstotzka tribe (there is no tribe name in the records at that time, no records were kept) was a tribe that had very late news according to rumors and some records, as a result, they did not participate in this migration and lived in today's Odessa and Sevastopol ports. Many nations were established in that region over the centuries, but Arstotzka Turks lived in the villages in the mountains, in the steppes in the meadows, although they mostly established their own villages, some generations even lived in normal villages. Generations later, that is, in 1922, the USSR or other countries established in those regions did not know about this people from the Arstotzkans, who did not even know about the establishment of the USSR. The reason for this is that they often mistook the Arstotzkans as autonomous Turks due to their being out of sight and their language similar to Russian and Tatar. However, Arstotzka Turks used these lands for years as their own, bartered in villages, and even circulated a currency they used among themselves in 1943.
2-The Swim Migration ( 12 October 1957)
Unfortunately, the peace that lasted for centuries did not last longer. A massacre took place in a village of USSR citizens who were against a regime, including Arstotzka Turks. These country-wide massacres went down in history as Stalin's Great Purge. Arstotzkans, who were aware of these events, set out for Nakhchivan, but this convoy, which went massively, attracted a lot of attention, and as a result, the Arstoztkans ran towards the port (which port is unknown in the records, but it is thought to be in the Caucasus region since this event was during the journey) and escaped from the soldiers and jumped on the boats. This group crossed the Black Sea and then swam to Samsun Carsamba region. (Deceased or missing are unknown, but it is said that there are about 27 people.) Arstotzkans, who arrived in the balaç village of Samsun Atakum region on a cold February 2, 1958, have lived here for years and recognize themselves as Turkish citizens, but few consider themselves as Arstotzkan.
